Tokyo Majin Gakuen: Oborokitan is a 1998 PS1 dark fantasy RPG developed by Marvelous Entertainment, set in a fictional Tokyo high school where students with supernatural abilities battle demons and occult forces threatening the city. It draws heavily on Japanese folklore, onmyodo mysticism, and urban horror traditions, wrapping them in a school drama narrative that became a template for later games in the genre. The franchise eventually spawned anime adaptations and sequels, but the PS1 original is where it began and it never received a Western release in any form.
