Theatrhythm Final Fantasy (シアトリズム ファイナルファンタジー) is the rhythm game Square Enix made for the series' 25th anniversary, launching in Japan on February 16, 2012, more than four months ahead of its North American release. Developed by indieszero, it turns music from Final Fantasy I through XIII into Battle, Field and Event Music Stages, with chibi versions of each game's lead character leveling up RPG style.
It was the first packaged Nintendo Network title to support paid downloadable content, with 52 extra tracks eventually released. One of them, "Somnus" from what was then Final Fantasy Versus XIII, never appeared in the iOS version or the sequel Curtain Call, which makes this original 3DS release its only home. The 3DS eShop no longer sells content, so the on-cartridge song list is the playable set.
