Super Mario 64 is one of the most important games ever made. Nintendo EAD's 1996 N64 launch title defined what 3D platforming could be — its analog stick controlled movement, camera system, and open star-collecting structure established conventions that the entire genre built on for decades. Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach, and Mario must collect Power Stars across fifteen worlds inside the paintings of Peach's castle to rescue her. Simple in premise, inexhaustible in execution. The Japanese original is the launch version as Shigeru Miyamoto shipped it in June 1996, before the Rumble Pak updated cartridge that followed. Cartridge only, used, good condition.
