Sonic Adventure was the game Sega bet the Dreamcast on, and it delivered. Released in Japan in December 1998, several months ahead of its Western launch, it was the first mainline 3D Sonic game and one of the most ambitious titles of its era. Six playable characters, a sprawling open hub world in Station Square, fully voiced cutscenes, and a dynamic camera system that was genuinely groundbreaking at the time. The Japanese version features the original Japanese voice cast including Junichi Kanemaru as Sonic, who has voiced the character in Japan ever since. The soundtrack by Jun Senoue and collaborators remains one of the most celebrated in the series. This copy is complete in box and heavily used — a played, loved copy of a landmark title.
