Pokémon Stadium: Gold and Silver is the Japan-exclusive third entry in the Stadium series, supporting all 251 Pokémon from Gold and Silver with fully rendered 3D battle models. In the West this was released simply as Pokémon Stadium 2, but the Japanese version carries the Gold and Silver subtitle reflecting its connection to the second generation games. It also includes the Pokémon Lab feature allowing players to manage their Gold and Silver cartridge data through the N64, and a full library of minigames. The naming difference between Japanese and Western releases is one of the more confusing version discrepancies in the N64 library.
