Circadia is a Japan-exclusive PS1 strategy RPG developed by Altron, released in 1999. Set in a fantasy world with a distinctive visual style, it features grid-based tactical combat with elemental mechanics and a cast of characters navigating a conflict between civilizations. Altron produced a number of niche but carefully crafted titles for the PS1 market that never found Western publishers, and Circadia sits among them — a polished mid-tier tactical RPG that rewards the collector willing to seek out the edges of the PS1 library.
