Bomberman Hero is Hudson Soft's 1998 3D platformer for N64, taking the series in a more action-oriented direction than Baku Bomberman. Players guide Bomberman through a series of themed worlds to rescue Princess Mirian, with an emphasis on speed and exploration over the puzzle-bombing of earlier entries. Its electronic soundtrack by Jun Chikuma became one of the most celebrated in the series and has maintained a devoted following.
