Dragon Quest VI is the final Dragon Quest on Super Famicom and one of the great late-era SFC releases. Chunsoft and Enix's 1995 title introduces a dual-world structure — a real world and a dream world existing in parallel — and brings back the job system from Dragon Quest III in its most refined form. Yuji Horii's scenario and Koichi Sugiyama's score are both series highlights. The game was Japan-exclusive on Super Famicom for fifteen years — Western players did not receive an official translation until the Nintendo DS remake in 2010. This cartridge is the 1995 original.
